---------- Bowhunter Shoe Hockey
GAME ON! PARTY TIME! EXCELLENT!
What is it? Shoe Hockey League beginning April 14, 2009.
When will it take place? Tuesday evenings with games starting at 8:30 pm and 9:15 pm
Where will the league play? CORH – Central Ohio Roller Hockey
How will it work? We will follow the model used by the Bowhunter Roller Hockey League which has been running successfully for three years. Check out the link below to see more about the league in action. Bowhunter Association of Hockey --- The league will consist of 4 teams & will play a 9 game regular season plus 2 post-season games – 11 games total. Future league expansion may be possible based upon player interest. --- Games will consist of three periods of 13 minutes each with a running clock each period. A stopped clock wil be used for games where the score differend is within two goals in the final two minutes of the third period.--- Teams will consist of 11 runners and a goalie – Players should sign up individually for $90 for the season – Only 44 player and 4 goalies will be accepted as full-time players, others will be placed on the sub list which is managed by the League. --- Players will be assigned to teams with the intent of keeping all the teams competitively balanced. Special requests for players being on the same team will be considered and usually honored, but the league reserves the right to place any player on any team to maintain competitive balance. --- The league will provide a league website and statistics and standings updated each week. --- Those who do not behave in a manner proper with the League’s goals will be removed from the league with no refund. The League Commissioner has final decision on all such matters. Don’t believe me? There are a few former players from the Bowhunter Roller Hockey League that may tell you otherwise.---
Garth Algar would like you to know that .......
